At least 20 people were killed and dozens more wounded when Israeli forces bombed a school in Gaza City on Friday, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The school, run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), was hosting hundreds of displaced civilians who had fled their homes amid the ongoing Israeli offensive on the besieged enclave.
