President Joe Biden welcomed Indonesian President Joko Widodo to the White House on Monday, in a bid to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The two leaders discussed a range of issues, including trade, investment, climate change, maritime security, human rights, and regional cooperation. They also announced several new initiatives to enhance bilateral ties, such as a joint plan to develop critical minerals, a memorandum of understanding on clean energy, and a dialogue on the digital economy.
