Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction vehemently condemns the abhorrently racist hate crimes perpetrated by extremist Jewish terror groups, which lay bare the deep-seated racism within Israeli society. Under the protection, shelter and explicit support of the Israeli government, these terrorist hate crimes against Christians and Muslims in Jerusalem have reached an alarming escalation.
The recent nauseating display of ultra-Orthodox Jews spitting at Christian worshipers carrying a wooden cross outside a church that was recently vandalized by an extremist Jewish terrorist (also caught on tape) is a shocking testament to the moral abyss Israel’s politicians have plunged their nation into. Many of these politicians, who have been convicted in Israeli courts for affiliation with Jewish terrorism, have found their way, through elections, into the highest echelons of government.
Dimitri Diliani, Spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, asserts, “The Israeli government’s endorsement of ultranationalist terrorism, epitomized by figures like Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, has emboldened these Jewish extremists, fostering a climate of unchecked hatred and terror.”
In response to the disgraceful attempt by Israeli officials to justify this hate crime as an “ancient Jewish custom,” Diliani declares, “This official rhetoric unearths the deep-rooted racism and prejudice infesting Israeli society. The recent elections have only exacerbated this issue, as cabinet members convicted of supporting Jewish terrorism now wield considerable power.”
Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction also unequivocally denounces the ongoing encroachments upon Al Aqsa mosque and violations of internationally recognized status quo arrangements. These actions constitute a flagrant desecration of sacred sites and must not go unanswered by the global community.
It is paramount to acknowledge that international support for the apartheid state of Israel directly fuels these hate crimes and bigotry. Diliani stresses, “Backing Israel and its illegitimate policies is tantamount to endorsing the suppression of human rights and the flouting of international law.”
Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction implores the international community to rise against this injustice and demands an immediate halt to the racist hate crimes perpetrated by Jewish extremists in the occupied Palestinian Territories, especially in Jerusalem.
