After 87 days of Israel’s genocidal ethnic cleansing war in Gaza, Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction continues to raise its voice against the unprecedented war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation military on Palestinian land. The on going genocide in Gaza reveals a horrifying toll, with 21,978 Palestinian civilians losing their lives and 56,697 left wounded, underscoring the urgent need for international intervention.
Dimitri Diliani, Spokesperson for Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction, states, “The figures we present are not mere statistics; they represent the innocent lives shattered by Israel’s relentless strikes. The intentional targeting of civilians, with 70 percent of casualties being women and children, starkly demonstrates the brutality of Israel’s ethnic cleansing genocide.”
The Biden administration‘s alarming move to authorize a new weapons sale to Israel amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza, despite global pleas for a cease-fire, evokes profound outrage and grave concerns. Diliani expresses his condemnation, stating, “By once again bypassing the already complicit Congress, the Biden administration is cementing its complicity in sustaining the bloodshed in Gaza, establishing an undeniable partnership in this tragic bloodbath.”
This decision, which aligns President Joe Biden with terrorist figures such as Benjamin Netanyahu, Itamar Ben Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich, and other members of the war criminal Israeli government, guarantees that his legacy will always be tarnished by association with those who are committing relentless genocidal ethnic cleansing war against innocent civilians.
Diliani adds, “Israel’s refusal to heed international calls for a cease-fire, coupled with President Joe Biden’s support, aptly labeled “Genocide,” further exacerbates the dire situation. As Israel persists in its genocidal ethnic cleansing war in Gaza, the systematic oppression in other Occupied Palestinian Territories, namely the West Bank including East Jerusalem, is also tantamount to crimes against humanity, constituting apartheid and persecution.”
Fateh Reformists’ spokesperson stresses that the concerning data from the initial nine months of 2023, disclosing the highest recorded number of executions of Palestinian civilians in the West Bank since the United Nations began recording, requires urgent International attention. The rising count of Palestinian civilians subjected to illegitimate “administrative detention” in Israeli centers, surpassing a 30-year record, where civilians are detained without charges or trial, accentuates a serious infringement on human rights.
Fateh’s Reformist Democratic Faction urges the international community to unite against Israel’s genocidal ethnic cleansing war crimes, calling for an immediate cease-fire, humanitarian aid, and accountability for those Israeli officials responsible for the atrocities.
