Fresh border clashes reported between Armenia and Azerbaijan

Armenia and Azerbaijan are once again involved in the accusation of ceasefire violation as fresh border skirmishes are reported between both sides however the reports of shelling are being verified independently.

The tension has been increasing between both countries who already fought the 44 days second Nagorno-Karabakh war in which more than 6000 were killed.

The war ended after the Russian brokers deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Nevertheless, the latest tension rose after Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev’s statement on ‘Zangezur Corridor’.

The latest mounting border tension put questions mark on the outcome of the upcoming meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev in mid-December in Brussels.
