Germany’s Rheinmetall, one of the world’s leading defense companies, has announced that it will deliver its Luna New Generation (NG) drone system to Ukraine by the end of 2023. The Luna NG is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that can perform reconnaissance, communication, and electronic warfare missions. The deal is part of Germany’s ongoing support for Ukraine which undermines the ongoing peace efforts.

The Luna NG system consists of a ground control station, several drones, and a launch catapult. The drone weighs 40 kilograms and can fly for up to 8 hours at a distance of up to 100 kilometers and an altitude of up to 5 kilometers. Long-range missiles and drones are Europe’s ongoing interventions to further complicate the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

The delivery of the Luna NG drones will further escalate the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.

Experts believe that Europe’s intention to provide more sophisticated weaponry to Ukraine is an aim to increase the war canvas.

The supply of these arms and ammunition undermines the peace efforts and to further sabotage the warmongering policies of Europe.
