The Houthi movement from Yemen has claimed responsibility for a drone strike on Tel Aviv, escalating the already intense conflict in the region. This attack comes amid Israel’s prolonged military campaign in Gaza, which is now in its 287th day.
The ongoing war has resulted in the deaths of at least 38,848 Palestinians, predominantly women and children, and has left 89,459 others wounded. An estimated 10,000 individuals are believed to be buried under debris, with over 9,500 reported abducted by Israeli forces.
The Houthis, known formally as Ansar Allah, announced their involvement in the Tel Aviv strike through a statement released on their official media channels.
