An Israeli air strike has killed 29 Palestinians who were sheltering in tents outside a school in the town of Abassan, near Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to a report from the territory’s Government Media Office. 

The incident occurred late Tuesday night as families sought refuge from ongoing hostilities. The victims included women and children, adding to the rising civilian toll in the region. 

Local officials have condemned the strike, calling for immediate international intervention to prevent further loss of life. This tragic incident highlights the urgent need for a ceasefire and protection of civilians.
