Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to India boots the defense and energy cooperation between the two countries but at the same time, it may prove to be a dormant relation between US and India.

India’s desire to buy S400 Russian defense missiles may not be easy for the United States and the QUAD alliance group to digest.

India signed the S400 defense deal with Russia in 2018 with an estimated cost of $ 5.4 billion.

Besides the S 400 missiles, there are 28 new agreements signed between both the heads for state-to-state cooperation in various sectors.
