Thousands of Armenians Call Prime Minister Pashinyan to Resign

For the second consecutive day, the streets of Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, have been filled with thousands of protesters demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The protests have been fueled by anger over recent territorial concessions to Azerbaijan, a contentious issue that has rocked the nation.

Many Armenians believe these concessions undermine national sovereignty and security, particularly in the wake of the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The latest surge in demonstrations follows a massive rally over the weekend, which drew large crowds voicing their discontent with Pashinyan’s leadership.

Chanting slogans such as “Pashinyan, Resign!” and waving Armenian flags, demonstrators have gathered in Republic Square and other central locations
